Climate Action to Support Native Communities

Welcome to Wednesday, December 9, 2020, Day 37 of #100daysofBTS to #EndTheClimateCrisis! As we continue the celebration of #BTSJinDay (or #BTSJin month in Korea), we discuss how cultural heritage helps us remember our connections to our neighbors and to understand and stand up to #EnvironmentalRacism and fight for #ClimateJustice. We also perform the end of the #BTSIdol at #Gyeongbokgung Palace from the #TheTonightShow during the #Chuseok moon. Huge thanks to the @GrandCanyonTrustAZ, the Indigenous Environmental Network (@ienearth), @Greenaction4EJ, the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe, and others for their work to oppose the White Mesa Uranium Mill and to prevent importing of radioactive waste from other countries to be processed and dumped on indigenous lands.
