Final Day, Happy Gwangbokjeol (Korean Independence Day)!
행복한 #광복절 (Hengbokhan Gwangbokjeol!) Happy Independence Day, August 15, 2021, to Korea and 4 other nations, and welcome to Day 100 of #100daysofBTS to #EndTheClimateCrisis!
For our 100th Day, we close out the #BTSButter Album Countdown and our 100 day dance project to #EndTheClimateCrisis, with a DANCE PARTY TO END THE CLIMATE CRISIS to #PermissionToDance! We welcome back Lyra, Dan, RayRay, Kathleen, Stephanie, Vince, Susannah, Poonam, and Kyra, and say hello to Leona, Annette, Luca, Jordanne, and Heidi!
Earlier this week, the #IPCC, #IntergovernmentalPanelOnClimateChange, chaired by Korea’s Professor #HoesungLee, published its Sixth Assessment report, which issued a “Code Red” for human driven global heating! The time to act is now. We have maybe 7 ½ years left before global temperature increase becomes irreversible.
So what do we do now? As our Day 100 Dancers share:
- #ClimateChangeIsReal, time is of the essence, do something now!
- Let’s spread awareness about climate change through music, dance, and our #LoveForBTS!
- This is our moment! Let’s work together to preserve our future.
- #EndFossilFuels… now!
- You can do it! We believe in you.
- Let’s do something now for a better world for our children.
- Anyone can make a difference no matter your age, including talking to your parents!
- We don’t have another Planet Earth!
