DAY 34: #BTSIdol for BIPOC Communities

Grand Canyon Trust’s Town Hall to stop uranium milling on native land

OToday, Friday, December 4, 2020, is Day 34 of #100daysofBTS to #EndTheClimateCrisis! We discuss #BTS as ambassadors of Korean culture, feature the #BTSIdol performance at a Korean palace, and discuss the importance of protecting land rights for indigenous people in North America and around the world. Join us Wed., Dec. 9, 12 noon Pacific for a National Town Hall to oppose the White Mesa Uranium Mill with @GrandCanyonTrustAZ, Indigenous Environmental Network (@ienearth), @Greenaction4EJ, the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe, and others, and to learn about the negative impacts of radioactive pollution in indigenous communities. Finally, in thinking about year-end giving, keep in mind @SogoreaTeLandTrust, an urban Indigenous women-led land trust based in the San Francisco Bay Area to facilitate the return of Indigenous land to Indigenous people. Let’s follow the leadership of indigenous people in protecting indigenous land and culture, ending racism, and reversing the #GlobalClimateCrisis!
