Climate Action Against Colonization and Uranium Milling
Welcome to Sunday, December 6, 2020, Day 36 of #100daysofBTS to #EndTheClimateCrisis, as we celebrate #BTSJinDay (Dec. 4) and discuss how war and colonization relate to Korea’s required military service, to #Gyeongbokgung Palace (where #BTSIdol was performed at #TheTonightShow during the #Chuseok moon), and to the challenges in the U.S. and around the world in the fight for #ClimateJustice and against the #GlobalClimateCrisis. Come join us for 2 climate justice events this Wed., Dec. 9: (1) At 12 noon Pacific, National Town Hall to learn about the White Mesa Uranium Mill campaign with @GrandCanyonTrustAZ, Indigenous Environmental Network (@ienearth), @Greenaction4EJ, the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe, and ending radioactive pollution in indigenous communities. (2) At 7 p.m. Pacific by the @ClimateRealityProject Bay Area Chapter event on Youth and Young Professional Climate Change and Climate Justice Leadership. Let’s end the #ClimateCrisis together!
